Rocking New Year's Eve...2012 LETSGO!!!
So my sis and I decided to throw a New Year’s Eve party at the last minute (arent those always the best). Only a handful of us were there, my sis and her family, one of my besties and 2 other acquaintances. It ended up being the best New Year’s eve I’ve had in a LONG time. We ate, drank and made merry. I have a vague recollection of doing cartwheels in 4-inch heels and having bootie throwdowns with my niece and another friend. Then heading upstairs to watch the ball drop, and countdown the seconds to the new year, everyone cheering like crazy. Truly awesome time. If we’re facebook friends, you can see some pics before I got too shitfaced drunk party happy to take anymore. My fave is the last one where im on the floor welcoming the new year looking like a drunk hobo. Fun times bb.
2012 IS GOING TO BE A GREAT YEAR because I am going to do everything in my power to make it so. End of story. That’s the main theme of my new year’s resolution, to live life to its fullest and make every day count. Every experience, every opportunity, there is hidden treasure everywhere. MY goal is to find it this year.
Reviewing last year’s new years resolutions and whether or not I accomplished them:
I started off 2011 unemployed so my first resolution was to find a good job. Which I did achieve by March.
I also became a vegan at start of the year, which by April had turned to vegetarian and Im happy to report I’ve kept that up and going a year strong.
Take more acting classes and get more involved in acting. Couldn’t really do the classes thing last year, I was broke and had too much going on. But I did start working as an extra here and there and that counts as getting more involved in acting.
Find a boyfriend. This one was an EPIC FAIL. I did NOT have a single date.
Lose 5 lbs and get more fit. This was easily accomplished once I became a vegetarian. Lost 7 lbs and definitely more fit. Weight is not an issue for me. That doesn’t come easy so im not bragging. I have to work for it. Exercise is a way of life for me, always has been. That’s the only way it works, you just have to commit to it forever. Im married to my treadmill.
I did pretty well with the only exception being in the one area which is beyond my control. Lets see if I can do the same for this year’s resolutions.
2012 resolutions...
To travel more. Would like to finally take that Vegas tripand party my tits off
Get headshots done. Take a class or two and not get cut out when I work as an extra so that I actually see myself, even if just a glimpse, on tv/movie.
Continue to get more fit. This I accomplished last year but I could still tone up more.
Make more friends and definitely try not to lose ANY.
And finally last but most definitely not least, get laid get a man. Women have needs too and lately I’ve been getting that rapist gleam look in my eyes whenever I look at ANY MAN a semi-attractive man. so maybe just a date where i get some.
LETSGO2012!
