busy like a bee..

Had a rather busy weekend.  I have relatives staying with me for the Thanksgiving holiday and they came in this weekend (this im sure will create its own drama and stress before the week is over but we’ll save that for another time, another blog).  I met up with Bi-Polar Kooks for drinks, which how did I end up paying for my OWN drinks?!  This is a major NO-NO!  He is just too slick isnt he.  It ended up working out that way because I arrived at the bar first since I only live a few steps away.  He did pay for his own drinks  when he got there…..so I guess that’s what you call going dutch and that’s fine if you’re just friends and nothing is going to go down.  But we did end up going to his apartment afterwards and while we did not exactly boogie it up, he certainly benefited from whatever transpired…I, however, did not.  we also ended up meeting again on Sunday morning and once again, more of the same.  Went to his apartment, and he got a morning delight but what the fuck did I get.  Besides a dirty mouth.  Then he dropped me off and haven't heard from him since.  Which is when I remembered….oh yea Bi-Polar Kooks, in addition to being a tad insane, is also incredibly VERY selfish.  And mostly just likes to be entertained orally.  He has some kind of an oral fixation, but only where it concerns him.  so, I don’t think I will be hanging with him again because um NO THANKS.  Much as I love to drink the magic elixir, there has to be a give and take.  otherwise, what’s the point, mofo better pay me for my time and trouble if he thinks its gonna be like that..  im sure I will hear from him soon for his next fix, because Kooks cannot stay away and if he did manage to stay away, well I should be so lucky.  Speaking of mofos who cannot stay away, MOFO Ex also tried texting me to hang out this weekend, but as you will recall I sent him to the DEADZONE several months again and there he shall stay till the end of time.  So I did NOT respond.  Wont respond.  There are currently 3 mofos in the DEADZONE:  The BEAST, Blind Date Mofo, and MOFO Ex.  DEADZONE means you’ve been cut off for life SON! 

In addition to the above, I also got called to work in NYC on a tv show.  We were actually on the real set, not exteriors (I usually work exteriors for some weird reason) and the star of the show was standing right next to me for some time and she was not very friendly.  Wouldn’t look at us at all.  She used to be on a hit HBO show for many years, now has her own show.   I played a patient being wheeled in a wheelchair (it’s a hospital show), which was fun.  I’ve now worked on several different shows and I have to say, this was one of the worst as far as how they treated the extras.  We only got fed once (usually its 2 or 3 times, depending on how long the day is), and it was rather late in the day so we were all STARVING, they were completely disorganized, the uni’s and the non-uni’s (union/non-union) were stuck together (the uni’s hate us and think they’re above us so there was a lot of side-eyeing and catty bitchy behaviour) and they had us herded into a small lobby area with only a few seats so most of us had to sit on the floor.  Because of that, us non-uni’s really bonded and banded together, in a ‘us against them’ mode.  We ended up having such a good time, in spite of (and perhaps even because of) the way we were treated.  This is what I love, the camaraderie, networking , meeting new peeps and working on a real set.  There’s nothing like it,even if the pay sucks and sometimes we get shafted around.  I only wish I could do this full-time.  Was talking to a few regulars on the show and they told me just to keep showing up to sets because that’s how things happened.   Its all about being in the right place at the right time.  So that was my whirlwind weekend. 

now onto the holidays….should be interesting.  Also will try to vlog another video but this time sober…just to see if I still sound so sophomoric and obnoxious.
